Inspiring Medical Students

On Saturday 7 March 2020, Doha College will host their seventh annual Medical Review School Conference. For this event, Doha College have once again partnered with COBIS to extend invites to British schools across the world.

Registration is now closed.

Event Details
The Medical Review School Conference allows aspiring medical students to present to industry experts on medical topics. The event is a fantastic opportunity for students who are thinking of following medicine to enhance their skills and boost their university applications.

This year, schools are invited to enter teams from Years 11-13 to prepare and deliver short presentations about recent developments in medicine. Presentations must fall within the following topic areas:

  1. Diseases and Disorders
  2. Neuroscience and Psychiatry
  3. Oral Health
  4. Pharmacological Developments
  5. Oncology
  6. Technology in Medicine

The morning session will consist of teams splitting into six break-out rooms where teachers from participating schools will rank each team’s presentation. The four teams with the highest scores will then go forward to an afternoon session where they will present to an expert judging panel of doctors and medical experts who will assess and challenge the finalists.
