Our 2018 Student Leadership Weekend took place at King’s College, The British School of Madrid from 16-18 November 2018.

The Student Leadership Weekend provides leadership training and life skills for senior pupils in Years 11-13.

Through interactive activities with trainers and motivational speakers, the students were presented with opportunities to develop self-awareness, interpersonal skills and life competencies. The programme included sessions on:

• Personal branding
• Presentation and public speaking skills
• Creative problem solving
• University life skills.

In addition to training sessions and workshops, the students also took part in a fun cultural excursion to central Madrid (including lunch in a typical Spanish restaurant) on the Saturday, along with leisure activities on both the Friday and Saturday evenings.
