TEDxStart Rite Schools Abuja
We are delighted to invite COBIS students aged 12-17 to register for TEDxStart Rite Schools Abuja.
This one-day, in-person event will offer COBIS students the opportunity to step onto the TEDx stage and share their thoughts on the theme 'Ripples,' whether it's an inspiring story, a solution to a problem, or a vision for the future. Different presentation styles are welcome including speeches, spoken word, music, poetry, rap, and more.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to present their ideas to an engaged and supportive audience, gain insights from peers with diverse experiences and worldviews, and connect with like-minded individuals.

Presentations
All presentations should be based on the theme, 'Ripples'.
Students should use the resources linked below when preparing their presentations. Please note, presentations should be no longer then 8 minutes.
All presentations should be reviewed by a member of staff ahead of the event.
Travel and Accommodation
If you are travelling from outside of Abuja to attend the event, the host school can provide hotel recommendations and support with travel between the airport, hotel and school.
Schools must not make any arrangements to travel to or stay in Abuja until their place has been formally confirmed by COBIS and the host school.
Cost
£100 per student.
From each school, 1 member of staff for every 5 students may attend for free. Additional members of staff will be required to pay a £50 fee.
Register
Please complete this form to register your students. Registrations should be made by school staff on behalf of their students.
Parents are welcome to attend and will be asked to complete a registration form ahead of the event.
