The in-person Music Festival will take place at British School of Bahrain from 9-11 February 2024, and is open to all COBIS Member schools.
The Festival will include solo (instrumental and vocal) categories, plus the brilliant Battle of the Bands category. Students will have the chance to take part in a musical workshop, and explore local sites in Bahrain, with a possible visit to the Formula 1 racing track.

Costs
Cost per participant (student or teacher): £170
COBIS registration fee per attending school: £319
These costs include:
- Competition entry
- Musical workshop
- Social activity
- Transfers between the airport and accommodation (upon arrival and departure)
- Transport between accommodation and event venues
- Catering
Travel to/from Bahrain and accommodation in Bahrain are not included. Please do not book travel or accommodation until your place has been confirmed. The British School of Bahrain has negotiated a competitive rate with a local hotel. Details will be made available once the event has been confirmed.
Please note, schools must take out the appropriate insurance policies, which should include cancellation, travel and medical insurance, as well as anything else as required by your school or region.
Registration
- Registration has now closed.
- Places will be allocated on a first come-first served basis. If the number of registered schools exceeds the maximum capacity, schools will be placed on a waiting list.
- Schools must confirm how many students they would like to bring to the Festival by Thursday 26 October 2023. If possible, please provide this information before this date.
- If a registered school wishes to cancel their booking, they must confirm before Thursday 26 October 2023 by notifying students@cobis.org.uk.
