COBIS Games

We are excited to announce that this year's Secondary Games will be hosted by the British School of Vilnius, Lithuania from 29 May - 1 June 2025.

Register here

The Secondary Games is an exciting opportunity for COBIS students to compete in a variety of sporting disciplines, connect with peers from around the world, and travel to new and exciting destinations.

Participants will compete in swimming, athletics, and football, aiming to earn the highest points and claim the Championship trophy. The Games is open to all COBIS member schools.

Who can take part?

Participating students should be in Years 7 and 8 , born between 1 September 2011 and 31 August 2013. Students outside of this age-group will not be allowed to participate.

There are 16 school team places available at the Games. The full list of participating schools will be uploaded to the COBIS website once finalised.

A school team consists of the participating students and accompanying school staff. Each team should be made up of between 16 and 20 students (including a minimum of 8 boys and 8 girls), plus at least two accompanying members of staff.

If schools bring the minimum number of students (16 students), each student will be expected to take part in all three of the sports - football, athletics and swimming. If a school chooses to bring more than 16 students, there will be some flexibility in the sports that each student takes part in.
