Student Leadership Weekend 2024

This is a a one-day workshop that was delivered by Karen Ardley Associates and accredited by the Royal Chartered Management Institute (CMI). This is an innovative and unique professional qualification, designed specifically for sixth form students, to develop their knowledge and understanding of the principles of management and leadership whilst also providing the opportunity to achieve an internationally recognised management and leadership qualification. For more information about the qualification, please download the leaflet.

Students ended the day together with a dinner at a local restaurant.

Workshops included:

• Intro to Coaching
• "Making a stamp"
• Sharing ideas and initiatives amongst schools
• How to manage a team

Students started the day by participating in a public speaking workshop. The students were then given the opportunity to deliver a short speech on the theme, 'The Power of Youth'.  The speeches are available to watch below.
