The COBIS Student Leadership Weekend returns to the British School of Bucharest from 20–22 November 2026, offering an unforgettable opportunity for Year 12 and 13 students to develop the skills, mindset and credentials needed to lead with purpose. Students in COBIS Member Schools are invited to attend.

Please note, participants will be supervised by colleagues from the British School of Bucharest during the workshops, however they will be unsupervised in the evening.
Opportunities for Accompanying Staff
It is expected that students will be chaperoned to and from Bucharest. A Level 3 Mental Health First Aid training will be available for accompanying staff. The course will run on 20-21 November at no extra cost. Spaces are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. A maximum of two members of staff per school can register. Please indicate in the registration form if you would like to register.
Cost
This event fee is £440 +VAT per student.
This includes:
- All conference/course fees
- Lunch on each day
- Lunch each day for accompanying staff
- L3 Mental Health First Aid course for accompanying staff (limited availability)

Travel and Accommodation
Schools must not make any arrangements to travel to or stay in Bucharest until their place has been formally confirmed by COBIS and the host school. Once the event has been confirmed, a recommended hotel will be shared that is within walking distance from the school.
COBIS and the Host School reserve the right to cancel this event if insufficient bookings are received, or if travel to the host country becomes inadvisable.
