Music Festival
Together with The British School of Bahrain, we are delighted to invite COBIS students to take part in our Music Festival from 17-19 April 2026, with both an online competition and an in-person event.
Students attending the in-person event will have the opportunity to perform in a range of solo and ensemble categories, including the brilliant Battle of the Bands category. They will also take part in musical workshops and evening activities.
The online competition will be centred around composition. It will include three different composition categories, from which the Young Composer of the Year will be selected.
Schools are welcome to register for the online and/or in-person event.

Thank you to ABRSM for sponsoring this year's COBIS Music Festival.
ABRSM is The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and a global music education charity. At the heart of everything we do is our belief that music enriches lives. Building on our heritage, we offer face-to-face and digital exams, sheet music, recordings, apps and courses for students and teachers across the world.
In partnership with four Royal Schools of Music, we carry on a long legacy of musical excellence. We support learners from the first note they play, and empower teachers who help build musical skills and encourage progress.
As a charity, we use all of the surpluses we generate to make significant donations towards music education initiatives and to develop our support for learners and teachers. We advocate for music in its many forms, playing our part to ensure the future of music education and its place in society.
