Music Festival

Together with Park House English School, we were delighted to invite COBIS students to take part in our Music Festival from 7-9 February 2025, with both an online competition and an in-person event.

The in-person event brought together 251 students from 16 COBIS schools across seven countries including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Nigeria, Lithuania, Luxembourg and Netherlands. Students had the opportunity to perform in a range of solo and ensemble categories, including the brilliant Battle of the Bands category. With over 150 performances, the competition saw a fantastic display of talent. The programme also included musical workshops and evening activities.

The online competition was centred around composition, and included 3 composition categories, from which the Young Composer of the Year was selected.  We were delighted to see 23 COBIS schools register for the competition.

The overall festival was a success - in that students were inspired by other young musicians and they had an opportunity to connect with like minded and passionate music students.Music Festival attendee

In partnership with four Royal Schools of Music, we carry on a long legacy of musical excellence. We support learners from the first note they play, and empower teachers who help build musical skills and encourage progress around the world.

As a charity, we use all of the surpluses we generate to make significant donations towards music education initiatives and to develop our support for learners and teachers around the world. We advocate for music in its many forms, playing our part to ensure the future of music education and its place in society.
