COBIS Music Festival 2026: Celebrating Young Composers
While the in-person COBIS Music Festival did not go ahead in 2026, COBIS was delighted to continue celebrating musical talent across its global network through the Young Composer of the Year competition.
This year’s composition competition provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity, originality, and technical skill. Submissions from across COBIS schools demonstrated an impressive range of styles, influences, and musical ideas, highlighting the depth of talent within the community.
Entries were carefully reviewed by an expert panel, who selected winners based on their musicality, innovation, and strength of composition. The standard of submissions was exceptionally high, making the judging process both exciting and challenging.
