This year, COBIS students had the opportunity to take part in two inspiring TEDx Youth events, including TEDx BSA Youth and TEDx Start‑Rite Schools Abuja, providing powerful platforms for student voice on a global stage.

At TEDx BSA Youth, students took to the stage to share ideas worth spreading, delivering thought‑provoking talks on the theme ‘Rethink the Now’ showcasing confidence, creativity and individuality. The event highlighted the importance of student voice and empowered young people to speak with purpose and impact.

Similarly, at TEDx Start‑Rite Schools Abuja, students aged 12–17 delivered a dynamic programme of 23 speeches, spoken word, drama and musical performances, exploring the theme ‘Ripples’. Participants shared inspiring stories, innovative ideas and visions for the future, while connecting with peers from across different countries and cultures.
