A Global Conference That Brought Young Voices Together

The COBIS MUN successfully brought together 250 young delegates from across the world for an inspiring international Model United Nations conference, hosted by Alleyn’s School in London.
The conference celebrated diplomacy, global awareness, and youth leadership, providing students with the opportunity to engage meaningfully with international issues while collaborating with peers from a wide range of cultural and national backgrounds.

A Conference with Purpose
Throughout the event, the MUN proved to be far more than a debate forum. Delegates challenged themselves intellectually and personally as they explored complex global challenges through structured discussion, negotiation, and cooperation.
Students:

  • Represented countries with research, integrity, and empathy
  • Engaged thoughtfully with international policy and global affairs
  • Demonstrated diplomacy, compromise, and consensus‑building
  • Developed confidence in public speaking and formal debate

Across all committees, delegates showed impressive maturity, curiosity, and a strong commitment to respectful and productive dialogue.

A Truly International Community
One of the defining strengths of the COBIS MUN was the diversity of its delegate community. Students travelled from around the world to take part in a conference that reflected the true spirit of the United Nations. Throughout the conference, delegates:

  • Shared perspectives shaped by different cultures and experiences
  • Learned from one another through collaborative debate
  • Built friendships that extended beyond borders and committee rooms

This international environment enriched every discussion and reinforced the value of global cooperation and understanding.

High‑Quality Debate and Student Leadership
The MUN was marked by the high standard of debate across all committees. Sessions were dynamic and well‑structured, supported by a committed Secretariat and skilled Chairs who ensured discussions were inclusive, challenging, and engaging.
Delegates benefitted from:

  • Relevant, well‑researched committee topics
  • Clear guidance and supportive leadership
  • Opportunities to lead, negotiate, and refine resolutions
  • Recognition for excellence in diplomacy and participation

The quality of debate highlighted the capability and dedication of all those involved.
