The Just2easy and COBIS Digital Creations Competition: Adventures in Time Travel, delivered in partnership with Just2easy, invited students across the COBIS network to explore the past through creativity, storytelling, and digital innovation.
Open to learners from Foundation Stage to Year 6, the competition challenged students to answer the question: “If you could step back into history, what would you find?” Using the Just2easy tool suite, participants created original digital projects that brought historical events, people, and settings to life.
Students could enter in one of three age-based categories:
- Painting (Foundation Stage–Year 1)
- Animation (Years 2–4)
- Coding (Years 5–6)
Through these formats, students produced digital pictures, animations, and interactive games that combined historical understanding with storytelling and creativity.
The competition enabled students to:
- Build digital literacy and creativity
- Apply historical knowledge in engaging ways
- Develop storytelling and communication skills
- Gain experience in coding, animation, and design
Entries were judged by a panel of education and technology experts, assessing creativity, subject knowledge, and overall quality.
Gold, silver, and bronze awards were presented across each category, recognising outstanding work and innovation.
