The inaugural COBIS Changemakers Competition, initiated by the COBIS Student Council, brought together students from across the global COBIS network to innovate, lead, and make a meaningful impact.

Open to students from Key Stages 1–5, this free, student-designed competition provided a unique platform for young people to showcase their creativity while developing confidence, leadership, and collaboration skills. Over several months, participating teams worked together on projects addressing real-world challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on positive change within their schools and local communities.

The competition demonstrated the power of student voice and agency, with participants tackling important issues such as wellbeing, education, and social equality. It was inspiring to see students from different countries collaborate, think critically, and propose solutions to global challenges.
