The safeguarding of children and young people is central to what we do at COBIS. We are proud to partner with The Safeguarding Alliance, to give our members access to high-quality safeguarding. The Safeguarding Alliance is a firm of specialists with a mutual passion and commitment in driving forward safeguarding excellence. They aim to raise standards, professionalise and empower practitioners of today, to safeguard and protect future generations of tomorrow. They work to put an end to safeguarding failure by researching, developing and promoting policy, education and training around the world.
Safeguarding membership for COBIS members
The Safeguarding Alliance provide invaluable advice, training and guidance for DSLs and school leaders around the world to help keep children safe. With safeguarding being a red thread for COBIS, this partnership will further strengthen our ability to support schools with their child protection and safer recruitment activities. COBIS members will now be able to join TSA membership at a discounted rate, and as part of this membership they will have access to a wide range of resources, policy templates and an invaluable helpline. The Safeguarding Alliance offer a range of services and support to help school practitioners and leaders ensure their safeguarding is watertight. Services include policy and procedure audits, training, legislative updates, plus access to a dedicated email and helpline. COBIS members can access Safeguarding Alliance membership at a 10% discounted rate.
