What the International Community is Doing to Support Students Displaced from Ukraine and What You Can Do to Help

In this webinar, Charles Wood, Head of International at CENTURY, is joined by David Cole, Principal of British International School of Ukraine, which has four schools across Kyiv and Dnipro. We hear how David is leading his school through this crisis, from how he ensured those who wanted to leave Kyiv reached safety and how they are ensuring teaching and learning continues throughout these most difficult of times.

We are also joined by fellow headteachers from international schools who outline the initiatives they have set up to support Ukrainian families displaced by the war. This includes David Strudwick, headteacher from REAL School Budapest, who has set up a Saturday School for Ukrainian families as well as Lindsay Davidson, headteacher of Embassy International School in Poland, who is supporting families in refugee centres. The webinar also features Grant Gillies, Principal of British School of Bucharest, who outlines initiatives established by the Black Sea Schools Group to support BISU.
