Supporting Quality in Japan

Supporting Quality in Japan

The COBIS Accreditation & Compliance scheme was recently formally recognised by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). This is a significant step for schools across Japan looking for internationally respected ways to demonstrate quality, strengthen practice, and build trust with their communities.

In this 60-minute webinar, we’ll look at how the international schools landscape in Japan is evolving, particularly around accreditation and quality assurance, and what this new recognition means in real terms for schools and leaders working in the sector. We’ll explain the COBIS Accreditation & Compliance scheme in terms of what it involves, how it supports school improvement, and why recognition from MEXT matters.
