Manageable, Meaningful and Sustainable Action Research

The session provides guidance and strategies to support schools and teachers in engaging in meaningful action research projects which can be sustained and grow over time. The session covers Hartland's partnership with the University of Birmingham and the Al Futtaim Education Foundation. It provides guidance on structured small scale class-based action research projects and how the outcomes can be best captured. It also provides insight into coaching methodologies used to support participants in their journey. Finally it provides some ideas on ways to share and celebrate teachers work with the school community and increasing the uptake of teachers engaging with the project.
