An overview of the British International Schools Safeguarding Coalition (BISSC)

The British International Schools Safeguarding Coalition (BISSC), launched in November 2023, is a ground-breaking coalition of international and regional associations dedicated to upholding the highest standards in safeguarding through collaboration. This webinar provides an overview of BISSC’s aims and objectives, and an update on recent strategy meetings. It also provides information about the work of ACRO and the NCA in helping to keep children safe globally, including crucial safer recruitment checks such as the ICPC.

BISSC’s commitment to safeguarding is underpinned by the principles of partnership, pioneering change, sharing best practice, growing a culture of safeguarding, a child-centred approach and impact measurement.
