COBIS partnered with Youth Sport Trust to deliver the first COBIS/YST PE and School Sport Conference 2-3 March 2016. Delegates from 9 COBIS schools attended the event at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, participating in a range of sessions including Raising achievement through PE and sport and Be confident that you are ready for Inspection as well as an opening address from Baroness Sue Campbell CBE. COBIS Student Engagement Officer Catriona Lawless was pleased to be able to join delegates at the 2 day event which included a Gala Dinner listening to the inspirational stories of international medal winning sports men and women and honouring the achievements of those from the world of PE and school sport.
