Teachers as Learners: Developing professional competence through collaborative learning and reflective practice

More than 400 Teachers, Teaching Assistants, School Leaders, Exhibitors and Speakers came together for the COBIS/King's Group Professional Development Weekend in Madrid, 28-29 October 2016.

The opening keynote speaker was Monty Halls, speaking on Inspiration, Teamwork, Leadership…and Risk. The conference finished with a plenary presentation from Shonette Bason. Over the course of two days, participants could choose from a huge range of sessions divided into strands for EYFS, Primary English, Secondary English & Creatives, Primary Maths, Secondary Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, Pastoral/PSHE, SMSC, Leadership & Management, Coaching/Mindfulness, Technology & E-Learning, and Insight Workshops.
