A successful COBIS Conference for Marketing, Development and Admissions Staff was hosted by Wellington College International School, Bangkok, 12-13 March 2026. Sponsored by OpenApply, the conference brought together delegates, exhibitors, speakers and guests from around the world to make connections and explore the theme of Human First: Marketing in the Age of Noise.
In a world of constant content, infinite scroll, and AI-generated everything, how do schools stand out in a way that actually connects? This year’s conference was about putting people back at the centre of school Marketing and Admissions - prioritising empathy, storytelling, trust, and relationships over tactics, trends, and tech hype. AI is everywhere, but the human element is what makes a brand believable and memorable.
