After qualifying, Becky taught in primary schools in the East Midlands in England. She became a senior leader and Advanced Skills Teacher specialising in the teaching of mathematics and art. After eleven years teaching in schools, Becky moved into teacher education at Bishop Grosseteste University where she was a Programme Leader for two undergraduate teacher training degree programmes, successfully leading the student journey, curriculum design, and recruitment and admissions for multiple cohorts. Becky also took on the role of Head of Programmes, overseeing all undergraduate and postgraduate primary ITT provision. In 2017 Becky was awarded a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Association (SFHEA) and in 2021 she completed her doctoral studies at the University of Nottingham. Her research focused on professional identity development of teaching assistants who train to become teachers in a community of practice. Becky now leads NITE’s international development, including the iPGCE with iQTS programmes, supporting schools around the world to upskill their teaching staff and supporting teachers in their continuing professional development and is currently leading development of NITE’s new suite of undergraduate teacher training programmes.

Graeme Lawrie MBE has dedicated over two decades to education, focusing on technology, computing, electronics, and design. His journey began at Oakham School in the Midlands, where he served as a teacher and house parent. In 2006, he transitioned to Sevenoaks School in Kent, first as Head of Department, then as Head of Faculty for Science, where he led initiatives such as the UK’s largest free Science event.

He later became the Director of Innovation and Excellence, a role that evolved into Director of Outreach and Innovation. Alongside his work in schools, Graeme has contributed to OCR, AQA, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) as an author of educational guides and exams, and he served as a Special Advisor on secondment at Buckingham Palace in 2015/16.

Graeme’s dedication and passion for education have been widely recognised. He received an MBE in 2020 for “services to education,” has been awarded Teacher of the Year on five occasions, and was named among the UK’s top five science teachers by TES in 2014. A champion for social mobility and educational outreach, Graeme has partnered with schools, charities, and organisations to extend learning opportunities to under-resourced communities globally. When not in the classroom, he spends time with his two children, Joe and Finn, and enjoys climbing, motorsports, and tinkering with engines.

Graeme Scott has 40 years of experience working in education, with 26 of these working internationally in Hong Kong, Dubai, The Hague and Bangkok.  He is an experienced international school leader and educational consultant.  Previously Head of a UK state school rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, Graeme has also worked as Principal at the International School of The Hague, in the Netherlands for seven years, followed by six years as Deputy Superintendent at the International School Bangkok. 

His most recent school-based role was as Founding Director of Fairgreen International School in Dubai.  He is now Executive Chairperson of MARIO Education, an organisation that supports schools in measuring and improving wellbeing and learning.  He also serves as Trustee of a Multi-Academy Trust with 23 schools in South West England, and has a specific focus on safeguarding and governance.
