In an exciting partnership with Alpha International Training, we are delighted to offer three COBIS-accredited courses for Teaching Assistants working in international schools around the world.

The role of an international Teaching Assistant is broad and varied, and professional development needs to reflect this. In collaboration with Alpha International Training (formerly Platinum Training and Consultancy), COBIS developed these bespoke and relevant training programmes for Teaching Assistants working in international schools around the world.

The DITA, DITA EY, and DILTA have been created to provide international Teaching Assistants with the knowledge, skills, and understanding to work effectively alongside the teacher whilst maximising learning opportunities for the children.

Diploma for International Teaching Assistants (DITA)

This six-month course for teaching assistants working in an international setting will comprise of an e-learning experience combined with reading, collecting evidence, and writing assignments.

Candidates can enrol on to the course at anytime throughout the year.

Diploma for Lead Teaching Assistants (DILTA)

This is a nine month course for teaching assistants working in an international setting who wish to develop their leadership skills. Aimed at those wanting to be a key liaison between TAs and the Senior Leadership Team, it will comprise of an e-learning experience combined with reading, collecting evidence, and writing assignments.

Candidates can enrol on to the course at anytime throughout the year.
