Pupil and School Support are a team of highly qualified teachers who specialise in working with schools and other educational settings to help children and young people with cognition and learning difficulties progress and achieve to the best of their abilities. We support schools with;

  • The development of strategic leaders of inclusion, enabling whole school improvement
  • Increasing staff capacity in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • The promotion of inclusive provision and practice, setting aspirational targets and raising attainment
  • Early identification, assessment, planning and progress reviews for pupils with cognition and learning difficulties, through small step criteria linked to the National Curriculum for English and Maths and associated teaching and learning ideas.
  • The implementation of initiatives, policy and statutory procedures
  • Delivery of Continuing Professional Development including online training; ranging from free short courses to more extensive training packages
  • Whole school training and development related to EAL learners
