We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our COBIS Member schools for hosting excellent COBIS Conferences this term.
The Conference for Marketing, Development and Admissions Staff, hosted by Wellington College International School Bangkok, brought together professionals from a wide range of international schools to explore best practice in a rapidly evolving landscape. With a strong focus on human-centred engagement, the conference gave meaningful opportunities for schools to share ideas, reflect on strategy, and enhance their approach to marketing, admissions, and external relations.
In addition, the No School Is an Island conference hosted by Chatmore International School, Bermuda, provided an important platform for schools within the region to connect, exchange perspectives, and strengthen partnerships. This emphasis on regional collaboration highlights the importance of context, culture, and community within international education.
Lastly, the COBIS Conference on University and Careers Advising, hosted by the British School in the Netherlands, further reinforced the importance of supporting students as they navigate pathways beyond school. The ability shared across participating schools has strengthened professional practice and enhanced the guidance offered to students preparing for their futures.
Collectively, these conferences reflect COBIS’s ongoing commitment to high-quality professional development and to fostering collaboration between schools worldwide. We are grateful for the opportunity to engage with such a dynamic and supportive network of schools.
