COBIS Development Plan 22-25

We are delighted to announce that in keeping with our 22-25 Development Plan, Deniece Wheeler has been appointed to support the COBIS membership team as Global Development Director.

Deniece has been based in Dubai working within the international education sector since 2008, consulting on behalf of education service providers across: education publishing; special educational needs provision; teacher recruitment; and teacher training. She served from 2019-2021 on the board of British School in the Middle East (BSME) to represent the needs of supporting partner organisations. For the last few years, she has been freelance consulting, supporting a number of educational organisations to increase their international reach including RSAcademics and High Performance Learning.

Deniece holds a BA (Hons) in Marketing, a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing, and an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching. She is passionate about individual and organisational wellbeing and is an accredited coach with the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) and a registered yoga & meditation teacher through the Yoga Alliance.

Deniece will be working closely with Natalie Williams and Nicole Cosnett in the membership team to further contribute to COBIS’ growth and development strategy. She can be reached on Deniece.wheeler@cobis.org.uk.
