Colin Bell, COBIS CEO presented key findings and actions following a recent global International Task Force on Child Protection (ITFCP) research project at the US Embassy in London.

This two-day summit was hosted by Jane Larsson, Executive Director at the Council of International Schools (CIS).

The agenda highlighted good practice and continued need to eradicate cultures of complacency when connected to safeguarding and child protection. The discussions explored cross-border law enforcement collaboration, emerging complexity connected to AI risks, sextortion, safeguarding governance/leadership, managing/recording allegations, safer recruitment, data processing and more.

As well as being a a Founding Member of the ITFCP and Chair of the Parental Engagement Committee, Colin was representing the British International Schools Safeguarding Coalition (BISSC) alongside Emily Konstantas, CEO of The Safeguarding Alliance. BISSC very much complements the achievements, ambition and ongoing work of the ITFCP, and it is collaborating with the ITFCP to improve and strengthen the safety and well-being of children worldwide.
