In line with our mission to support and empower all British international schools in their provision of high-quality education, the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) has refreshed our COBIS Accreditation and Compliance Standards, which were officially released in January 2025.
We are delighted to share that COBIS has received formal recognition of our COBIS Accreditation and Compliance scheme by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in Japan. Representing school communities, this official endorsement of COBIS Accreditation as meeting the standards expected for educational institutions in Japan, demonstrates COBIS's dedication to rigorous quality assurance.
Around 100 attendees joined in-person for the first COBIS Conference on University and Careers Advising - January 2025 on 21st and 22nd of January in Dubai. The conference was kindly hosted by COBIS Member School, Deira International School.
