Dear Colleagues,

A very warm welcome to the first We Are COBIS newsletter of the new academic year. I hope that the start of term has gone well for you and your school communities, and that everyone is settling into what promises to be another busy and rewarding year across our network.

As the majority of schools around the world get back into the rhythm of the new academic year, we are pleased to bring you the latest news, updates and opportunities from across COBIS. This edition reflects some of the important work underway to support our schools, strengthen our global community and provide opportunities for connection and collaboration.

In this newsletter, we share the joint update from COBIS, AoBSO, BSME and HMC for schools in the Middle East following the awarding of the Summer 2026 examination results. We are also excited to introduce our new Regional Ambassador scheme, which we will be piloting during 2026/27, creating further opportunities to connect and engage with colleagues across our network.

You can also explore our CPD and Student calendars for the year, which have now launched, with a programme of professional learning, networking and student opportunities planned across the academic year. We are delighted, too, to welcome our new COBIS schools and Supporting Associates to the network and look forward to working with them in the months ahead.
