Bringing together six hundred participants from sixty-five countries, the conference provided a dynamic platform for educators, leaders and professionals to share ideas, challenge perspectives, and explore the future of international education through the conference theme, “Listen, Learn, Lead.”

We were delighted to welcome an exceptional lineup of keynote speakers to this year’s event, including Susie Dent, Andreas Schleicher, Frank G, David O, and Dr Attaullah, bringing together leading voices from education, language, policy, and innovation.

From the very beginning, the conference captured the spirit of a global community committed to supporting schools and students with purpose and impact. Delegates engaged in sessions and discussions covering leadership, governance, safeguarding, wellbeing, artificial intelligence, accreditation, professional development, and the evolving international school landscape.

A defining moment of the conference came during the Student Voice panel, which brought the theme of “Listen, Learn, Lead” to life in a powerful and authentic way. Students shared thoughtful reflections on the realities of growing up in a rapidly changing world, speaking candidly about social media, mental health, artificial intelligence and the importance of trust, inclusion, and psychological safety within schools.

Their message was clear. Education with impact begins by listening.

Throughout the conference, delegates were inspired by thought-provoking keynote sessions and practical discussions exploring how schools can continue to evolve while remaining grounded in kindness, authenticity, and meaningful human connection.

There were moments of creativity, energy, and collaboration throughout the event, with lively workshops, interactive activities and conversations continuing well beyond the conference sessions themselves. Above all, the conference highlighted the strength of the COBIS community: warm, welcoming, forward-thinking, and united by a shared commitment to supporting young people around the world.
