The conference explored a wide range of practical and strategic topics relevant to international schools, including safer recruitment best practice, safeguarding, cybersecurity, HR innovation, cross-functional working, negotiation, creativity, and leadership. Delegates heard from an expert panel, including The Safeguarding Alliance, ACRO Criminal Records Office, and the National Crime Agency (NCA), who shared important updates on safeguarding in British international schools, the International Child Protection Certificate, the work of the British International Schools Safeguarding Coalition, and so much more.

Across the two days, the conference provided valuable opportunities for learning, discussion and collaboration, enabling finance, business and HR professionals to share experiences, exchange ideas and strengthen connections within the global COBIS community.
