Schools seeking to join COBIS through this route will need to complete an online application process:
1. Initial Application: your school will apply via COBIS and pay the non-refundable registration fee.
2. Submit Documentation: in order to determine the school’s eligibility, you will be required to submit the following documents:
- A BSO inspection report dated within the last 5 years
- An action plan addressing how any points for improvement in the BSO inspection report will be addressed
3. Review and Ratification of Membership: Once the required documents have been submitted, they will be reviewed by the Membership Committee. Subject to a successful review, your school will be recommended for ratification of membership by the COBIS Board.
4. Payment of Membership Fees: An invoice for your COBIS membership fees* will be raised once membership has been ratified by the COBIS Board. You’ll find the current fees here.
5. Welcome to COBIS: Once the membership fees are paid you will be sent your virtual Membership Welcome Pack containing details on how to access your benefits and more.
