We are inviting schools to nominate up to three students for a Student Achievement Award this academic year.

The Student Achievement Awards is open to all COBIS schools, including Applicant schools. Students in Key Stages 2, 3, 4 or 5 are eligible for nomination.

The award recognises outstanding individual achievements or contributions to an aspect of school or community life. Students can be nominated for the award for a number of reasons, including:

  • Exceptional academic achievement
  • Outstanding effort
  • Commitment to a charitable cause
  • Commitment to environmental sustainability
  • Significant contribution to the wider life of the school
  • A remarkable demonstration of compassion or kindness

Schools may also wish to nominate a student for another reason not listed above.

Awards

Students will receive a digital certificate in recognition of their accomplishments. In keeping with our focus on sustainability, rather than producing awards for students, we will be making a charitable donation on behalf of the students who have been nominated.

A list of award winners will be published on the COBIS website in May 2021.

How to nominate your students

Nominations should be submitted by school staff via an online form that will be available on this webpage in the autumn term.

Nominations will open in November 2020 and close at 3pm BST on Wednesday 21 April 2021.

We would like to thank CPOMS for sponsoring the Student Achievement Awards

CPOMS is a system for monitoring child protection, safeguarding, SEND and a range of pastoral and welfare issues. Staff are given appropriate levels of access to match their level of involvement with the relevant concerns. Using CPOMS, schools can ensure that students are safe and fully supported, whilst safeguarding leads and school staff can focus on teaching and providing support, instead of administration.
