IB and Cambridge Assessment cancel summer examinations

Both IB and Cambridge Assessment have cancelled their upcoming international exams due to COVID-19 outbreak.

Cambridge Assessment have stated that no exams will take place in any country. "We recognise that students have been working very hard towards these exams. We will be working with schools to assess students' achievements using the best available evidence. Students will receive a grade and a certificate from Cambridge International, given the knowledge and skills they have acquired in their programmes of study. This will ensure students do not face disadvantage as a result of these extraordinary circumstances. "

The IB have said "The May 2020 examinations as scheduled between 30 April and 22 May for Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme candidates will no longer be held."

We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops, and will keep you updated with any changes to the examination structure via our knowledge hub.
