Dear Colleague, As your school prepares for staff recruitment campaigns in 2014, just a reminder how COBIS supports school members to attract and recruit high calibre staff. 1. Publish Recruitment Ads on www.cobis.org.uk
- Publishing unlimited vacancies is a component of your COBIS annual membership subscription fee
- The Recruitment section of our site is attracting increasing numbers of passive and active job seekers
- COBIS schools have reported that they are attracting quality candidates via this channel
- Recruitment ads can be published via the Member Area – all you need is your unique school password
- Simply log into your school account, click on your school name under' My Groups' and select 'edit job vacancies’
- Contact us to reset your password or for more information
As standard, please include a recruitment safeguarding statement in all ads. For example:
‘COBIS schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults. All applicants to COBIS schools must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and Disclosure and Baring Service checks and/or International Child Protection Certificate’. Or…
‘This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Employment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)’.
2. TES 10% Discount Offer
- Following negation on behalf of COBIS school members, the TES has agreed to offer a 10% discount to COBIS member schools
