COBIS Schools Research

COBIS undertakes a range of research projects with member schools as well as working with other associations and members to contribute to wider research projects. Please find details of COBIS school research projects below.

COBIS Annual Research Survey 2015

For the second year, COBIS has undertaken annual research with member schools about examination results, university destinations as well as many other areas (summaries below).

In 2015/16, COBIS launched the second Annual Research survey, in partnership with GL Education. The survey was undertaken to help develop a better understanding of the growing global COBIS family of schools, as well as the British International Education sector as a whole. The results are supporting lobbying activities, informing planning for future CPD events, and helping facilitate increased school-to-school networking, communication and support.

Global International Schools Admission Survey

In early 2015, admissions staff from a range of international schools were invited to participate in the Global International Schools Admission Survey. This project was supported by many international and regional school associations including AISA, EARCOS, ECIS, COBIS and NESA. COBIS, along with our colleagues at membership associations worldwide, encouraged members to participate in order to gather comprehensive information about the function, role, structure and challenges of the admissions process in international schools.
