Conference Organisation: Quality School Management Ltd with DSB
Presenters/Facilitators: Phil Whitehead, Erica Holley, David Wood, Fred Ward
Programme: Monday-Wednesday participants will attend 3 x 1 day practical sessions using the theme of ‘conversation’ to explore key cross-curricular, cross phase dimensions that support learning. AfL, coaching and middle leadership will form the starting points for each 1 day session, with a focus on conversations with & between pupils, and with and between staff in both coaching and distributed leadership scenarios. Each day is repeated to enable all participants access to each of the sessions.Thursday morning will focus on the UK programme, SEAL. Participants will work in FS/primary & secondary groups for SEAL. The afternoon will be an Education Question Time with presenters and the DSB principal forming a panel.A separate and intensive programme of professional development has been designed for staff from the German Dept, who will join the other participants on Thursday.
An optional social programme will run at the end of each conference day
