COBIS Accredited Members Prepare for DfE Approved Inspections

E-mail Print

For the current academic year 2011/12, there are currently 5 COBIS schools based in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia who have confirmed Inspection dates one of the 6 approved DfE Inspectorates published on the DfE. More schools are in the pipeline for 2011/12 academic year.

COBIS is proud of the quality assurance becoming a 'COBIS Accredited Member' offers. COBIS has 28 accredited members, all of which have undergone an Inspection by a DfE recognised body.

A powerful component of the COBIS network is to share good practice and to contribute to whole school improvement. In relation to DfE approved inspections COBIS supports:

  • Provisional member schools planning to be inspected under the new DfE scheme
  • Affiliated schools interested in working towards provisional and ultimately accredited COBIS membership status
  • Accredited schools working towards a successful re-inspection

This is just one example of the benefits of becoming a COBIS member/affiliate school
