GLOBAL LEADERS IN EDUCATION PROGRAMME, Shanghai, China - 19-21 December 2017

COBIS is partnering with Future Foundations to offer a Global Leaders in Education programme, designed for middle and senior leaders in COBIS schools. The course helps current and aspiring leaders to reflect on their vision for leadership and identify the conditions that allow teams to reach their potential. This course will take place at Wellington College International Shanghai, and will run alongside a student leadership programme - the COBIS Global Social Leaders Catalyst 2017. Schools registering students for the GSL Catalyst are eligible for a free place on the Global Leaders in Education Course.

COBIS PERSONALISED LEARNING CONFERENCE, Amsterdam, The Netherlands - 4-5 January 2018

The British School of Amsterdam will host a Personalised Learning Conference, 4-5 January 2018. The conference will include a range of sessions on SEN, EAL, Differentiation, and related topics. ADVANCED TRAINING FOR DESIGNATED SAFEGUARDING LEADS, Madrid, London, Hong Kong

It is important that Designated Safeguarding Leads in each school receive regular, advanced training on Child Protection and Safeguarding practices. COBIS runs an Advanced Child Protection course each year, immediately following the Annual Conference in London. This year, we are also offering a comparable course for Designated Safeguarding Leads in Madrid and Hong Kong.

COBIS PROGRAMME FOR MIDDLE LEADERS (CPML) - Madrid, Bucharest, Muscat, Blantyre, Mexico, Cayman Islands

Bookings Now Being Accepted for 2017/18

The COBIS Programme for Middle Leaders (CPML) is a one-year programme for ambitious middle leaders who wish to develop their personal and professional skills. The course uses a blended learning approach with facilitated workshops and self-directed learning, including five days of face-to-face training. A commitment to improving the experience of students is a central element of the CPML, and through the leadership challenge participants will also develop their leadership capacity. For 2017/18, CPML cohorts will run in Spain, Mexico, Romania, Malawi, Oman and Cayman Islands. Bookings for most cohorts are now being accepted. 

COBIS PROGRAMME FOR ASPIRING HEADS (CPAH) - Madrid and Muscat

New Course for 2017/18

COBIS is pleased to be launching a new course for Aspiring Heads and Senior Leaders at an early stage of their career who are interested in developing their practice. Building on the success of the CPML model, the COBIS Programme for Aspiring Heads (CPAH) will run over a period of eight to ten months, combining face-to-face sessions with a choice of in-school projects and optional school placements. The course will run in Madrid and Muscat this year, starting from September 2017. Booking is now open and places are limited.

COBIS DIPLOMA FOR INTERNATIONAL TEACHING ASSISTANTS (DITA)

Both the COBIS Diploma for International Teaching Assistants (DITA) and the DITA for Early Years provide international Teaching Assistants with the knowledge, skills and understanding to work alongside teachers whilst maximising learning opportunities for children. Enrolment for these courses is currently open.

COBIS DIPLOMA FOR LEAD INTERNATIONAL TEACHING ASSISTANTS (DILTA)

New for 2017/18

Building on the success of the COBIS DITA, we are pleased to be launching a new course for Lead Teaching Assistants, delivered by the TA College. The COBIS Diploma for International Lead Teaching Assistants (DILTA) will be a combination of eLearning, research, collecting evidence, and writing assignments. The programme is completed over a period of nine months, with candidates studying at their own pace through flexible eLearning. More information will be published on the COBIS website shortly.
