Description

St George's International School was founded in 1990 to provide an English-medium education for children of all nationalities.

A truly international mix of pupils, the school population is made up of approximately 40% British with the other 60% representing 23 other nationalities. Entry is non-selective and pupils are accepted regardless of race or creed.

The teaching staff are all fully qualified with an average teaching experience of 15 years. The pupil/teacher ratio is 10:1 .

The School follows the British National Curriculum whilst recognising the international nature of its enrolment and the special opportunities offered by its location in the heart of the European Union.

French is offered from the age of 3 . Particular attention is paid to the development of skills in mathematics, science, technology and English.

The school is housed in its own self-contained premises.

The school is a non-profit making organisation and carries the full support of the Minister for Education and the Municipality. HBM Ambassador to Luxembourg chairs the school's Patronage Group
